Grand Forks Cities Area Transit
As a GIS analyst for the city of Grand Forks, ND, I worked in several critical areas in order to redesign and update the transit route map system.
Responsibilities/Goals included:
- GIS Analysis
- Informational Databasing
- Public opinion polling and feedback on route changes
- Map creation and editing
Lutheran Social Services Refugee Resettlement Project
Working as project team leader for LSS to analyze issues facing newly-settled refugees to the Grand Forks, ND area. After an initial analysis, the importance of affordable clothing was identified, and we set out to create an easy-to follow map of low-cost clothing locations for the Grand Forks, ND area.
Responsibilities/Goals Included:
- GPS Waypoint Field work
- Organizational Communication Flow
- Map Conceptualization & Function
- Map Design.
